Im coming home after 3 months at the hospital.

Could not controle my body.

Fottprints in the Sand
Footprints in the Sand
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set af footprints.
So I said to the Lord,
"You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the moest trying periods of my life
there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?"
The Lord replied,
"The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
is when I carried you."

Collards is green
mah dog´s name is Blue
and I´m so lucky
to have a sweet thang like you
Yore hair is like cornsilk
a-flapping in the breeze
Softer than Blue´s
and without all them fleas
You move like the bass,
which excite me in May.
You ain´t got no scales
but I luv you anyway
Yo´re as satisfy´n as okra
jist a-fry´n the pan
Yo´re as fragrant as "snuff"
right outta the can.
You have some´a yore teeth,
for which I am proud
I hold my head high
when we´re in a crowd.
On spacial occasions,
when you shave under your arms,
well, I´m in hawg heaven,
and awed by yore charms.
Still them fellers at work,
they all want to know,
what I did to deserve
such a purdy young doe.
Like a good roll of duct tape
you´re there fer yore man,
to patch up life´s troubles
and fix whut you can.
Yo´re as cute as a junebug
a-buzzin´ overhead.
Yo´re aint mean like those far ants
I found in mah bed.
Cut from the best cloth
like a plaid flannel shert,
you spark up mah life
more´n a fresh load of dirt.
When you hold me real tight
like a padded gunrack,
mah life is complete;
Ain´t nuttin´ l lack
Yore complexion, it´s perfection,
like the best vinyl sidin´.
despite all the years,
yore age, it keeps hidin´.
Me´n´ you´s like Moon Pie
with a Mountain Dew drank
we go together
like a skunk goes with stank.
Some men, they buy chocolate
for Valentine´s Day;
They git it af K-Mart,
it´s romantic that way.
Some men git roses
on that special day
from the cooler at 7 - 11.
"That´s impressive," I say.
Some men buy fine diamonds
from a flea market stall.
"Diamonds are forever,"
they explain, proud and tall.
But for this man, honey,
these trinkets wont´t do.
Couse you´re too special,
you sweet than you.
I got you a gift,
wihout taste nor an odor,
more useful than diamonds.......

The ClotheslineThe Clothesline
A clothesline was a news forecast
To neighbors passing by.
There were no secrets you could keep
When clothes wew hung to dry.
It also was a friendly link
For neighbors always knew
If compagny had stoppen by
To spend a night or two.
For then you´d see the fancy sheets
and towels on the line;
You`d see tge comp`ny tableclothes
With intricate design
The line announced a baby´s birth
To folks who lived inside
As brand new infant clothes were hung
So carefully with pride.
The ages of the children could
So readily be known
By watching how the sizes changed
You´d know haw much they´d grown.
It also told when illness struck,
As extra sheets were hung;
Then nightclothes, and a bathrobe, too,
Haphazardly were strung.
It said,"Gone on vacation now"
When lives hung limp and bare.
It told, "We´re back!" when full lines sagged
Wtih not an inch to spare.
New folks in town were scorned upon
If wash was dingy gray,
As neighbors raised their brows, and looked
Disgustedly away.
But clotheslines now are of the past
For dryerses make work less.
Now what goes on inside a home
Is anybody´s guess
I really miss that way of life.
I was a friendly sign
When neighbors knew each other best
By what hung on the line!

Two hearts
finally together.
After a very long wait,
